Endocrinology is the study of hormones that control important things in our bodies - like how we grow, develop, and use energy. Endocrinologists are doctors who help find and treat problems with these hormones, such as thyroid or adrenal disease, menstrual problems, or weak bones. While these issues can be tricky, our endocrinologists' expertise helps to work out what's going on, and can give good advice on what to do next. If you have diabetes or obesity, our endocrinologists will work with your GP and allied health experts to help you stay well in the long term.
